Job Description

An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Finance Manager. As a Finance Manager you will bring a strong commercial acumen and business resources to analyze and improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

The role of the Finance Manager will include:

• Develop commercial and strategic insights informed by financial and non-financial data and present meaningful recommendations back to the Senior Finance Manager and wider business with respect to the costs, costs profile and risks and opportunities.
• Liaise with key operational stakeholders across the business – analyze risk and plan for contingency
• Drive budgeting and forecasting and CAPEX/OPEX reviews.
• Performance analysis on the operations of the business to assist in decision-making; particularly on the costs and budget releases.
• Financial modelling with in-depth variance/scenario analysis and other ad hoc analysis.

About You

The successful Finance Manager should have the following experience and skills:

• 5-7 years experience in a large complex business
• CPA/CA Qualified
• Experience within energy sector/ utilities is desirable
• Strong understanding of SAP ERP, Power BI and Advanced Excel is desirable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting principles and the preparation of financial reports and financial models
• Experience working with and managing finance teams
• Experience in various aspects of business management including managing stakeholders.
